Reflection 🤔💭

Hey, guys, I wanted to share my reflection long the project with you guys!

This project was overall one my favorite projects I've done and I really did enjoy it but my group and I had lot's of struggles during this project and it wasn't as easy as we thought it would be, we first started as a group of two which meant two brains to think of ideas but that's where the problem was we had a struggle at first when it came to thinking of original ideas that not only made sense but weren't cliche, once we got our ideas we grew as a group from two members to three which did help a lot cause now we had more ideas. The real struggle once we had our ideas was to meet up and work together on our organization with the project, I realized we all had different schedules to work with and they never matched up, we also had to work with the actor's schedule and that's where the problems began because we were all so busy, Juli had soccer and I had Club activities every day after school. as a team, we never truly measured how much time this project would take us, and yes we had time in school and we used that time to work on the project outline and script but we still had to meet up for filming.

Filming: filming was another issue of ours, finding time to film was hard enough for us and for our actors, we had the ideas but now we needed the time to film and we did try our best to make the time and set up dates but something always came in between. We originally had agreed to film a few days before spring break and continue it during spring break but that never happened I left for competition and as a team, we decided to film the week before spring break once I came back but then the whole issue with COVID-19 happened, which put us in a difficult position due to our parents not wanting us to go outside. We had to change the original idea we had for another one which seemed easy to say but wasn't easy to think, now, we had to think of a whole brand new idea to film while quarantined. Yes, we did find an idea and we worked it out through facetime meetings with each other and we all worked on it non-stop from the outline to the script, to the first draft, and then the final draft.

This project took more time than we had expected especially with the unfortunate events that had happened, I know now that our biggest problem was both time management and communication. We were all so excited to make this project the best of the best, that when it came to working and meeting up for it we had a big problem in our hands. Through this project, I've learned to have big respect for the directors and producers and all of the workers in the film world because it's not as easy as it seems and this project had taught me all of that and more.

I'm proud of how our final turned out and even under these circumstances we still did our best to make it all work out even during the frustrating moments.

New music

Hey, guys, there's only a few days left until I have to turn in my project and right now we are looking for music to add to our final project.

we found one song that represents our project perfectly it's called revelations by Tristan Barton and we made sure the song was non-copy right in order to use it and we decided to the music only in specific parts of the film in order to create more of the thrill we want to create within the film.
it wasn't easy finding the song we looked through several songs who almost made but they felt like they weren't good enough

these three websites were used to find music that matched our film but only in the second website we found the right song, all we have to do now is edit it in and we will be done with music and credits, I'm so excited for you to see the final product 😆

Editing Process

Hey, guys wow it's been a long journey with you guys in this whole project and I wanted to talk to you about the editing process we have come a long way and have come across many obstacles during this process.

Right now we are editing our film and let me tell you it isn't easy, placing and editing every shot we took is quite difficult. I have redone the same scenes about at least three times to see what fits better or what looks better. The software I am using is Wevideo  I think it's great editing software, I'm still trying to get used to it because it's not my typical editing software but it is simpler than the one I use

when it comes to editing it is the one thing I love the most it's just the whole process of creating something new based on just a few camera shots I love playing with transitions and with changing the order of the shoot to create a new storyline.

there are difficulties with editing tho, it's not always easy placing scenes together because once you do, they might not work out even though you have the idea it might not be the same once you start editing. when I finalize the editing I'm going to place the music and then put the credits and we'll be done. wish me luck guys because anything could change,

So let's talk script, so far we have somewhat of our script not all but somewhat we are trying to make it with less dialogue but the dialogue is also very important. There are several changes I have made to it, unfortunately, my Wifi stopped working completely yesterday so I could barely work on the scrip. Right now, I'm working on it to see what I can add

Hey, guys so my group and I finished the online for the scenes that are going to be filmed, most of them are at Juli's house since she is the main character.

Our Long and Awaited Meeting

Hey, guys, I hope everyone is doing well, so let's get into this blog.

On Thursday, my group and I had a meeting in which we talked about a new film opening and how we are going to work with it during this situation. We all discuss who our actors were the scenes we are doing and how it's going to be done and well, we have it all figured it out by now.

Our actors will be Juli as Aria, Valeri as Kali, and Juli's parents as Aria's parents'. we will be having different shots from different backgrounds which we think will work out. While Juli and Val film, I'm going to be working on the script and finish adding any details to our outline

I'm super excited about this film opening and I'm looking forward to seeing the final product, I'm also working on the script for my CCR question so look forward to that!

The Characters

 Hello guys!

I wanted to talk a little bit about the representation of our characters. The Costales family is a Hispanic-Italian family, which is typically an underrepresented group in the film industry. Aria's dad is  Venezuelan, we realized that not many Venezuelans appear in American film and it's not a common sight. Here are so movies with Venezuelan actors:

The Venezuelan actor in this film is Andrew Divoff
who played the Djinn

 Life as We Know It

Actress: majandra delfino

 Aria's mother, Giulia, is from Italy but speaks Spanish since she lived in Venezuela for most of her life. The goddess in our film opening, Kali, is a goddess that is widely recognized in Hinduism. She is known as the destroyer of evil forces in Hinduism and is also called the Divine Mother. Aria's life story is portrayed throughout the film and as to why she desperately wants to save her family from being framed. Although her parents are strong and powerful people they do work a lot and barely have time for Arias but that doesn't stop aria from wanting to protect her family. • Although she is very busy and appears to be absent, she cares a lot about her family and her child

Changing our Idea!💔😭😡

Hi guy!!

I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe and inside their houses, right now I'm enjoying a simple family day at home. So, what we all came here for, we have decided to change our story it was a hard decision because we were so determined to continue with our original film opening ideas but with everything that's happening we can't. So our group discussed for several days what we could do and it wasn't easy, many of the ideas we have been hard to film because most places are closed. Well, I'm sad that we can't do our idea but things happen for a reason and I'm excited to develop this one.

Now, you are all probably wondering what our idea is...

Our new story is about a goddess who appears when our main character gets sleep paralysis, the reason why the goddess appears is that she is trying to warn the girl of the dangers her family is facing. We change our action story to a more thriller genre. and I believe it will now be easier to film with our current situation I will keep you updated on our filming progress Oh! and CCR's are coming soon!

COVID-19

Hello guys,

Today's blog I wanna talk about the spread of the virus and the current cases, as we all know this is a virus that was established in China but then started spreading through Europe and then it spread through the U.S. The first case in the U.S was in Washington, from there on the virus kept spreading. This virus had killed thousands of people, the symptoms for such virus are fever, cough, shortness of breath, and breathing difficulties. This virus affects all ages, which doesn't mean just because you are a certain age you won't get it because you will.

This virus is not to be taken lightly, many people thought it was a joke at first but it never was due to this virus schools have closed down and many businesses are forced to closed down, businesses such as Kohl's, Starbucks, Burlington Coat Factory, Ashley Steward, and many. According to the New York Times "Greg Daco, chief U.S. economist at Oxford Economics, says the economy is assured of a recession — at least two consecutive quarters of economic decline — with output falling 0.4 percent in the first quarter and 12 percent in the second."  Our economy is not doing good at all, with the spread of the virus our economy could really fall.

Call from our Teacher

Hello, guys, I hope everyone is safe and staying at home.

So I have some news, on Thursday 19,2020 my class and I had a group online meeting with our teacher. She kept us updated on the current situation and what we can do, She told us that for the moment being we will start our online school on March 30th and that our school is offering to distribute computers for kids who need them. She also told us that Cambridge has allowed us to extend the date of the project, this truly helps us a lot because event though the extend it not that big it gives us more time to prepare.

 Right now, everyone's problem is that we can't film because we can't go out, this means that we might have to change our idea and think of something new and if we are working in groups we can start doing it alone. My group and I talked and we will continue to work together. Now, the only issue is that we have to change our idea of something we can do at home. We will try to do a group FaceTime on Sunday to brainstorm ideas. We have to still work on the project under the circumstances we are in.

COVID-19 and How It's Affecting Us

Hello guys,

I hope everyone is staying safe during this time, as we all know Covid-19 is spreading faster and faster than ever. To prevent spreading we have to stay in quarantine, this is a smart idea but it does affect my group because we can't go out to film and many places are closing due to the virus. although this isn't the worst thing, I know that we can't be doing stuff late because we don't have time, with the virus closing schools up and having us do online school we lose time.

We still have our blogs to finish, the CCR'S, and editing to do. To this point, we can't even meet up to discuss ideas. here's a map with where the spread is:



To not get the virus, we all have to stay inside and avoid contact with people because we never know who might have it, many doctors recommend distancing from people, washing hands all the time, and use as much hand sanitizer.I'll leave a link with instructions on how to protect yourselves

Target Audience

Hello peeps!

My competition went really good and well we WON! but that's not what I came to talk about, right now I'm on the bus working on this blog. Today I want to talk to you about the target audience we are going for, as you all know our film is under the action genre and this is a genre that is very hard to work with due to the number of action scenes and suspenseful scenes. This genre is very tricky just like any other genre it requires proper research, the target audience is young males aged around 16-25 years old. This is because most action films have large amounts of fast-paced scenes, violence and sexual content which would be the gratifications this audience will look for.


This genre has a lot of impact and the reason why many people see it it's because of the stunts, explosions, and in certain occasions car chases. Such examples are what make the action genre, for our film we are trying to make a film that is liked equally to both men and women.

the chart above shows us the age in which these types of films are watched more, you can tell that the range is bigger in teens.

this chart shows us what makes an action film and the biggest thing is the story lie=ne without it there's no proper film that will be liked by many.

Action films have a big role and many people expect the adrenaline from this certain film and it is a challenge we are going to face in order to keep our audience entertained.

Meeting up

Hello guys,

So, I'm going to say this again, we still haven't met up, I know I know, right now it's hard and impossible for the three of us to meet up because at the moment being I'm in Orlando for a french competition and I don't get back till Saturday. We did agree to meet up on Wednesdays of next week.

Our meet up is to do final planning of the techniques we want to use in order to film and finalized the scenes. This is going to be a big part and my whole group and I will prioritize this meeting in order to make this film successful. So far I'm working from here in finding the music and working on the script I'm doing as much work as possible during the time I'm not competing.

I'm sitting at a Starbucks coffee shop and working as hard as possible in order to not be left behind and being able to be at the same pace as my group. I'm constantly communicating with them, and giving ideas.

well, I have to leave you now, I have to compete and I don't know how long it will take!

We didn't get the song 😭💔

Hey guys, so it has been a few weeks into our project and we never got an email back form universal saying that they approve us to use the song, this means that we have to find other music as a backup.

Not having the song we wanted is disappointing but we can't let that bother us, we have to look for other songs that fit the image of our film, which is going to be hard but we'll find it. So far, none of the songs I've looked into have caught my attention they are all so repetitive and sound the same. The song we want has to carry on the film and have an impact, the song is a big part of our film just like set-design costume design, scripts, actors, and camera movements the song play the big part.

I know I'm gonna be spending the next few days trying to find the right song and when I do I'll let you guys know! This is a big obstacle in the development of our film but I know that I can let this stop me from paying attention to the other roles in the film.

For those curious, the song we wanted was "Holy moly donut shop" by Blueface.

Distributing our film!?

Hello, guys, I hope everyone is having a great Wednesdays!!!!

I'm excited to comment that these next few posts will be better than ever! Today I want to talk about the distribution of our film and the platforms that we want to use in order to promote it. Now, this is not an easy task, distributing our film isn't as easy as it might seem in movies or in ads. There are many platforms to be used for distributing films but not all of them are easy and won't accept you for the first time.

One of these platforms would be Youtube, this is the #1 distributor platform and it's used by many people by putting our film on Youtube we have a great chance to attract a certain audience that's interested in out film genre. But with youtube, we also run the chance for our movie to take long recognition because not many people are going to see it in their youtube.

Either way, we plan to distribute this film the best way we can without spending too much money due to us being Highschool students. Putting our film out there gives us a chance to get recognized for our work and this is one of the steps into signing with a company which won't happen so fast it will take time and we would have to make more projects in order for us to be recognized by a pic film company.

Another platform we could use is Twitch which has the same functions as Youtube and allows our product to be put out there. This platform also makes tons of money and with putting our film we could get lots of money to further out continue the film.

Equipment!?

Helloooooooooooo!

I got good news, we have our equipment to start filming our openings and it's the most exciting thing ever!! Juli one of my group members is bringing the equipment such as a Steadicam and lighting.

Val will be bringing a canon camera, so far these all the equipment we need for the moment being. Since we have our equipment like mentioned before now we have to find time to film because we need to have enough time to edit and do our CCR.

Trouble!!

Hello guy,

it is not a very good day, I realized that we are already in March and we haven't filmed a single scene for our project. All of our schedules are extremely busy and we never have time to meet. I understand that we have to create time but it is very difficult, we need to film this project and edit it many factors have to be done and with Springbreak coming it's going to get harder. I talked to Val and Juli and hopefully, we can film next Monday but on a good note we have all our actors, now the only things left to do is film.

I'm hoping we can figure out the scheduling problem and hopefully, we can meet next week to film as much as possible. We did add a scene to our film opening and it's when both cri's meet each other without knowing their lives will change and I'm excited about that scene. A Script

Hello everybody! I hope everyone is having a happy Friday.

Now let's discuss the script, our film opening is going to have a few dialogue scenes at the beginning and end of our opening. The script I'm showing is the opening scene one and through this script, our film will start developing from there on I hope you like it

We don't have the script for the end, even up till now I don't think we are going to add one but that is something we still have to discuss.

Help was needed

Hi, loves!!
I hope everyone is having a great day!  I know I am! After an exhausting day in school and nonstop thinking on how to fix our film opening, Mrs. Stocklosa blessed my day with group meetings these meetings helped me re-think which way my group and I wanted to go with this project. I realized that we were overcomplicating our opening scene. After talking with my group, they told me to not overthink the scene and make it simple, my teacher also advised us to have them do regular teenage stuff as in one girl could be doing homework while the other one is on her phone. My group also gave an excellent idea of how to end the scene, they gave me the idea to have music faded in the background and as our film is ending the music crescendos and our tittle pops out.

These group meetings truly helped me out with ideas. Now I know how  I want this project to look. I feel that we have enough scenes to make it seem long, we still have to work some scenes out and add more to be able to properly develop it. It was honestly a great experience it giving out ideas and receiving them. Those were honestly all the problems I had now I just have to get together with my group and start filming!!

Character development

Hellooo!

WOW ok so I'm excited because we finally developed our characters for the film, we have names and a rough image of how they will look and their aesthetic.

Character #1

Cris(female)

This is our main character and yes it does say female because there will be two Cris a female one and male one, Now why is that? it's because it develops our story with our idea. Cris is Outgoing/ambivert, Artistic , Homebody,90’s, Brown Curly hair, Brown eyes these are all characteristics that describe our main character. Cris's personality is very different from her best friend and that's what makes it great because it's a contrast between characters.

This is somewhat her aesthetic would look like to put an idea out there

Male Cris

He is the antagonist and the trouble maker he is considered a Drugdealer has a Bad reputation he is a Trouble maker and he is the head of a drug ring. He is the cause of the problems of Female Cris and the reason as to why our film opening will develop the way we want it to.

This the aesthetic Cris would fall on with the whole rebel vibe and the bad attitude

Our las character is Aria she is considered Quirky, Outgoing, Always ready for an adventure, Life of the party. She is very different from Cris she is your typical party girl who makes the wrong choices without knowing she's making them.

This would be her look she is very girly and indeed popular but always stay with her friend Cris supports her. These two are a dynamic duo you won't see too often

The music

A LOOOONG PROCESS!!!!

So, I'm back and we finally sent our request to the song that we need for our film opening, it was such a long process and it wasn't as easy as we thought it was more complicated.

We had to go through many searches and websites just to find the right email but we found it. The music is own by universal music and we had to fill a whole sign up to allow permission to use the song( the song is called: Holy Moly Donut Shop) the artist of this song is Blueface, we wanted to use this song because it fits perfectly with our story. Now, it's all about waiting for the song to get approved in order to use it in the meantime we will be filming really soon and I'll post about it and our progress of it

The boring scenes

THIS IS SO HARRRRD!!!!!

So, I thought this project was going to be easy but it's not I didn't take in mind that there was going to be so much planning and thinking and ugh! We had an idea as a group and it's the one we are using but the hard part is developing it. Creating the scenes and not making them boring or cliche is hard because we wanna attract the attention of the audience and not make them feel bored.

So we talked to our teacher, There was a scene we had trouble with due to it being too typical and too short, after brainstorming ideas we came up with a few scenes that would help our film opening. We still have lots of progress to do and little time, we have lots of scenes to discuss and filming to do we aren't being very organized and we are making things harder on us by taking too much time and prioritizing other things rather than the project.

So far, all I know is that we are meeting Wednesday to start filming and hopefully it will be easier. One of the scenes we wanna do is in a room and multiple shots of the decoration around the room with the two girls on the bed then our scene continues. 

Donuts and money laundering!?

Ok so I know our the tittle pf this blog post might seem kind of weird and it is but it's a fun kind of weird, now hear me out through the few days that I've been working on this project it has been hard at first to find an idea to work on, once we chose the genre it seemed hard to think of something that wasn't too cliche or too obvious. One night I was at a friends house and it was late at night, I was having too much fun to even think about the project but then I got a call from my partner Valeri, she called me to tell me about the most insane and weird idea she had for our project, she called it "Free Donut Day" I seriously thought for a moment that she was joking but she wasn't her idea was different and weird, so I told her to explain it to me and she did, she explained this whole story of how our film was going to be based on a robbery in a donut shop and yes it seems weird but I was into it.

Now, our story is based on a young girl who wanted a donut and her friend told her that it was free donut day(hence the title) these two girls decided to get donuts and when they got there it seemed like a robbery had happened and one of the girls got framed. I don't want to say the whole film cause it would seem that I'm giving you all the answers but this is pretty much how it would go. Now, many are going to ask "how do you plan to develop this storyline?" and to be honest I have no idea, it seems like a weird story but I'm down for it I wanna see where this story takes my group and me.

we have already decided who our main actress is going to be, our friend Anya volunteered to help us develop this story and she's the one who is going to be our lead, I do feel that it's going to be hard to work around a schedule in which we can all meet up and working with other people is going to be hard but we do have our set in which we want to work in.

we want to use this dunkin' donut as our set in order to film, this means we would have to talk to the manager to allow us to film inside and outside, this is a process in which puts us in a situation in which we have to use our communication skills,

so far this is the only set we have so far but a video is soon coming on how we searched for places and on our meetings and filming time.

SO MANY FONTS!

for the past few days, I've done nothing but look at fonts, and I don't know how to say this but if I look at one more font I might go crazy! I've seen font I've never seen before from Keep on trucking to thorn and I can tell you right now that choosing a font was very hard

But after looking at many fonts I think we found the one we need, I knew that our group had to take in mind that the font has to match our idea of the film so we couldn't do just any font presented to us, it had to be THE font otherwise it wouldn't be part of our film. So, after hours and hours of searching and well maybe an hour of binge-watching Gossip Girl, but either way as a team we finally found the font that we need.

this font caught the theme we were looking for in our film, it is exactly what we were looking for, it's sort of hard to explain it but it's the way it looks, we had a vision and that's what we found.

Planing, Planing, Planing!

Our schedule?

OMG!!!!!!!! really excited for the next few weeks, not only did we get a new group member but we also have our schedule for meetings and film day!

I created a special calendar for my group to stay organized, the next few weeks are going to be fun but rough, we still have to meet up to discuss our ideas and organize a schedule with our actors.

These are pic of what our schedule looks like, although it looks like it's full the meeting date might change since we are very busy with our normal schedules. The schedule looks tight and full, like said it might change but we want to have enough meetings and filming days to make this film opening successful. as a team, we want to meet up as much as possible but we do take in mind that our private lives are busy, some of us play sports or are in clubs but we will work around this schedule to complete our filming and planing, we also know that our actors are busy people so we also have to work for a schedule that works with everyone, the one shown is just a rough outline of what it might look like. 

We will also make voice and video recordings of our meetings and planning to keep you updated. This might be the most stressful yet fun project I have done! I will keep you updated on the most recent organization methods we use, right now I'm working on a sketch of what our costume and set design will look like as well as an outline of our film opening.

Film Opening

Now it took me some"hours" to choose a film opening (but as we all know it actually took me days) but apart from that this project is the most exciting one because I'm about to introduce you to the world of the action film openings!!!!!

Now, what is an action film opening?
these openings usually start with an explosion, fight, or car chase depending on the film, these films start big in order to catch the attention of the audience. Directors don't wanna give the audience the plot right there and then, they have the 2+2 rule in which they make the audience work for it instead of giving them the answers.

Now let's indulge in some great film openings!

To begin with, a great film opening is "Meet the Warriors" this film was produced in  1979  and it has one of the best opening scenes.

this scene is a great action scene because it's not only introducing the cast and crew but it also creates a mood for the audience in order for the movie to focus on the action. The music and costume design set the mood and time for that time and adds to the theme of the film. The opening of the scene talks about an army that fought with enemies and through the constant change in the scene of different gangs the audience can tell that they are all going to start a fight. This is how an action movie would typically start with an intense scene, it could either be an explosion or a fight.

Another great opening scene is "The Matrix" 

this action film is am an example of people versus people, in which our main character is wanted for unknown reasons (that is for the audience to find out) but our film starts with a badass opening scene in which the audience sees a numbered screen in where two people are talking about something they need to do.  This scene continuous with a great fight scene that sets the plot our "hero" being chased for whatever reasons she is being chased.

Action opening scenes have the same kind of feeling to each opening and is that feeling of adrenaline and action with fight scenes as the start of the film or explosions takes the audience straight to the action in order to develop the plot and the storyline.

Action Film Research

The start of a new production


Omg!!!!!!!! I'm so excited about what's coming for the next few months, this post marks the beginning of a new project, from here on I will be recording the progress of my portfolio project and it is such an exciting project I've been waiting to come for so long. The genre my partner and I chose was Action and with this genre, there come many factors in play to create a successful action film. This genre includes several physical stunts, chases, fights, and races. Usually, this genre includes a hero and the goal they are trying to achieve, for the hero to achieve this goal he/she has to go through several obstacles that stop them from achieving the goal. This genre targets an audience of young males around the age of 16-25 because it is an action film most of the audience will be males because it tends to get very violent, Action films such as the James Bond films are good examples of action films. These films have factors needed in this genre from the handsome hero to the charming and desirable women in the film. This type of genre lets us see the story through car chases, fights, and good looking heroes.

EX: Fast&Furious





Fast&Furious falls under this category of Action, the whole movie surrounds around the adrenaline of a car race and the excitement of catching the villain. This movie became extremely popular since the movies have a franchise. Many fans love the movies because of the adrenaline that there is to it, every scene is even better than the other.

Actions films cost a lot of movie to make because of the constant destruction the is on each scene that is filmed, depending on the film that is being produced the money being spent could be greater, most action films cost about $65 million and that is only the production the side the marketing and promotion side cost around $35 million. This genre has a high cost because of all the big factors in it, the action genre is expected to be big and with explosions. The reason why I believe this genre gets lots of attraction it's because of the start theory, this theory means that a film will get more audience if it has bigger and well-known actors, and many actors also get popular because they played the hero part in the movie.

The action genre also works really well with special effects such as explosions in t, car chases, and fights. these effects create an illusion in which makes the fans want to see more of it. The special effects also add to the "magic" of an action film making it ten times more exciting and with more adrenaline.

Action films also have convections, such as Action-Adventure: person against nature, Action-Duel: Person against a person, and Action-Epic: Person against the state or other large organization. These convections play a big role in action films, the action-adventure convection can be about anything that has to do with nature and how the hero has to overcome obstacles to achieve the goal.

EX: The Hunger Games






In The Hunger Games, our hero Katniss Everdeen as a chosen one has to fight to the death against other people to survive in a dangerous environment in which poisonous gas exist. this action film in this convection brings excitement in audiences on how a human can win against nature, this film was very popular in 2012 because of the conflict with our hero and nature. Many action fans might like this genre convection because it is different because of the nature part.


Another great convection is Action-Duel: Person against a person in this convention the hunted part exist in which the villain chases the hero, the movie Pirates of the Carebian is an excellent example of it.






In this film, our "hero" Jack Sparrow has a goal to achieve but instead of him chasing the villain the roles end up being turned around. Jack has to go through many obstacles in order to achieve his goals. The special effects on this movie are what make this film so great. Through the use of these effects, they create am illusions to bring out the fantasy and action in this film. 

All of the action films have important factors that make them great and these films required lots of money in order to be successful. My partner and I will be documenting our action film step by step to make this a successful film and for our audience to see it.

Electronic Rock

Electronic Rock

Electronic rock is a subgenre of the Rock genre, this genre is considered to have a theme in which most songs are about love and romance. The target audience is Highschool/College kids from ages 16-25 most of the artist in this genre are males but there's also female artist such as Grimes and feminist-punk band Le Tigre. This genre is pretty famous among both genres depending on the artist, Twenty-one pilots are one of the bands under this genre, this band uses this genre to make heartfelt songs that connect to the audience.

The artist my group chose was Killer venus, this artist is a one-woman artist who such as her artist name, she is like a goddess of love, sex, and beauty. This artist brand is to promote female empowerment through her music, the ways to develop her brand is through promotion. Social media, this platform is big amount teens now, the reason why we use this platform is that it is used among many people all around the world and it's the platforms in which helps these artists promoting their music videos, music, and post information on upcoming events. Through these media, they also create a connection with their fans and interact with them to create music or products that are based on their theme plus on what their fans look for.

Through the music video, I learned that it's their way of promoting their music and bringing a face to the artist, each part of the music video, whether it's a promotion or storytelling, helps the audience identify what theme the artist is working with and what to expect of said artist. Music video production also helps market the artist by bringing an audience who didn't know about the artist to learn about them. Youtube is the distribution platform many artists uses in order to bring fans, through this app many people who like different genres of music can come across artists who use this genre and learn more about them. It really is a great way to promote and grow the artist because they are building a fan base through an app that recommends music based on what it's audience likes.

The choices that I made with the artist were influenced by this genre and how it was developed, many electronic rock artists depend strongly on their websites to create a deep connection with their audience. It also helps develop their product among fans and it grows their promotion and profits.
